Mr. Baker started his career in the manufactured housing industry almost a decade ago when he joined Palm Harbor Homes as a retail housing consultant. Baker then joined Champion Homes as a sales and training manager. Six months later he was promoted to General Manager for one of the company's retail sales centers on the Gulf Freeway in Houston TX. Baker was responsible for new and used home sales, along with being very active in FHA Land - Home Sales. Baker learned what is commonly called the "Back Side of the Business" which is the construction portion of all land - home deals. This included site inspections and over seeing the installation of the home, its foundation, septic, wells, decks and all utilities connections.

With his eyes on the future, in the Spring of 2000 Baker started his company and has since become one of the foremost foundation contractors in the state by specializing exclusively in foundations mobile homes and modular homes.

Over 4 years ago Baker pioneered and introduced the innovative BIG FOOT Foundation System. Although the company still installs concrete footers for high end and modular homes and provides concrete flat work for special projects, over 80% of the company's business is installing the BIG FOOTŪ Foundation System.

Baker is a member of the Texas Manufactured Housing Association, Texas Association of Mortgage Brokers, Texas Association of Realtors, The National Blue Book of Building & Construction Contractors, and is a licensed foundation contractor by the Texas Dept. of Housing & Community Affairs. Baker was also recently inducted into the Manchester Who's Who of American Business Leaders.
